When is the best time to visit Rowdy Bear?

While our snow tubing lanes are the most popular activity during the winter months, we also have outdoor summer tubing, a mountain coaster, a unique alpine flyer ride, axe throwing, and more! No matter the weather, there are plenty of activities to keep the whole family happy and entertained. So really, there’s no “best time” to visit Rowdy Bear, because you’re guaranteed to have lots of fun any day of the year! 

What are the age and height requirements? 

The safety of our guests will always be our top priority, but we also require you to have as much fun as possible! Here are our current height and size requirements for all of our activities: 

Tubing Hill: The required minimum is 40 inches tall, and they must participate with an adult. Those 47 inches tall and up may tube alone. Participants must be able to fit completely in the tube while sitting and also get in and out of the tubes without assistance.

Avalanche Snow Coaster: The maximum weight per cart is 440 pounds. The required height minimum is 40 inches tall, and they must ride with an adult. Those 51 inches tall and up may ride alone. Children between 40 and 50 inches tall can still operate the ride with an adult. 

Ski Lift Shootout: The maximum weight is 350 pounds per gondola. The required height minimum is 40 inches tall, and they must ride with an adult. Those 47 inches tall and up may ride alone. 

Axe Throwing: Guests must be 10 years of age and older to participate. 

Do you have something for children too young for the rides?

For those 2 years of age and older, we have a giant playground with several unique features. The only requirements are that a parent or guardian is supervising at all times, and a signed waiver and wristband are also needed. The play area is also great for the family to regroup and take a break in between activities– the older kids will definitely want to climb around on the playground too!

Are there any food or drinks at Rowdy Bear? 

Yes! We have a small cafe with snacks, drinks, and ice cream. Sugar Bears Cafe and Creamery always has something new for you to try, from seasonal milkshakes to other yummy sweet treats!

How can I make the most of my time at Rowdy Bear? 

Get the most bang for your buck with our 1 or 2-hour unlimited ride wristbands (excludes snow tubing)! You can ride the Ski Lift Shootout, and Snow Coaster as many times as you want, plus spend as much time as you want at the outdoor axe throwing. Since the tubing hill is definitely the most popular, it can get crowded during peak times, so try to get here early! We open every single day at 10 AM.
