This latest attraction in Pigeon Forge will have your entire group grinning with joy as you experience the all new snow tubing thrill ride! What to Expect
The snow tubing hill at the park is over 500 feet long and features a 70-foot drop. This makes it Tennessee’s largest outdoor snow tubing hill! Everyone can agree that the worst part about sledding is having to lug your ride back up to the top of the hill. Luckily, that is not something that you will have to worry about at Rowdy Bear’s Smoky Mountain Snowpark. Once you reach the bottom of the hill, you can ride one of the two Magic Carpet Conveyors that will whisk you back to the top. Not only does this save you some energy, but also gives you more time to enjoy zooming down the snow covered lanes! Each tubing session lasts 90 minutes and you must be 48” tall to ride alone or 40” tall to ride with an adult.
Other Features of the Park
In addition to snow tubing, the Smoky Mountain Snowpark in Pigeon Forge also features a few other unique benefits. Ride the world’s first Avalanche Snow Coaster, or the Ski Lift Shootout Coaster! If you need a break from the cold, Sugar Bears Cafe & Creamery will sell treats that can warm you up, including coffee, hot chocolate, and delicious baked goods.
Snow Tubing Tips
Before you set out on your snow tubing adventure, here are some helpful tips you might want to know about. First of all, we recommend wearing pants and long sleeves because of the temperature of the snow, but it is not required. Because we use real snow, it can be quite cold and icy, so it is better to wear extra layers, as well as close-toed shoes. Just to note, snow tubing will take place in all weather conditions and may only be delayed due to extreme weather in the area. Due to the high demand for snow tubing tickets, we also recommend making your plans as soon as possible. We are now accepting reservations for the season, so be sure to book your spot!
