What to Expect at Our Outdoor Snow Tubing Hill

It’s over 500 feet long with a 70-foot plummet at the bottom that will make your stomach flip and your heart jump into your throat! Don’t worry about having to walk to the top of Rowdy Bear Ridge; simply hop on to one of two Magic Carpet Conveyors that will take you to the summit. 

Snow Tubing Requirements & Reservations 

Reservations are required for snow tubing, as there is a high demand and limited time slots, so it’s important to book your tickets early to ensure your 90-minute time slot is saved! While there is no weight limit at our snow tubing hill, we do have height restrictions. Take a look at the requirements for snow tubing in Pigeon Forge TN:

  • Individuals must be 40” tall to participate with an adult over 18. 
  • Those between 40″ and 48″ tall must ride with an adult in a connected tube. You must be 48” tall to tube alone.
  • Tubers must be able to ride on the conveyor unassisted and stay standing
  • Tubers are not allowed to walk on the conveyor belt.
  • Tubers must be able to get in and out of tubes without assistance
  • No lap riding is allowed. Double-connected tubes are available.
  • Tubers must fit in the tube when seated.
  • Pregnant women are not permitted. 
  • Cell phones or other handheld items are not permitted on the tubing hill.

This means you can visit us on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and all other major holidays. Our staff works by choice on these holidays, and the Rowdy Bear family loves seeing your happy faces enjoying our Pigeon Forge attraction! Our snow tubing hill is also open regardless of the weather– rain, snow, or shine. The only cause for a delay would be lightning, and while we do not offer refunds, we can issue a rain check that will never expire.

Do you make your own snow? 

Yes, we do! Not only is our snow beautiful and authentic-looking in both color and texture, but it’s also completely edible!

Yes! You can add on tickets for our mountain coaster, alpine flyer, and axe-throwing attractions at the ticket counter when you arrive. There is no need to pre-purchase a coaster wristband; reservations for the tubing hill are only required due to the high demand! As long as you have a tubing reservation, we can add on additional attractions at a discounted price!
